Our Vision:
We envision the continuous development of a leading edge workforce.
What We Do:
WWTAB's main role is to lead the Trends, Opportunities and Priorities (TOP) local labour market planning process. The TOP process includes research on current labour market conditions, community consultations; review and discussion of research findings; establishes priorities for labour market development and engages partners in initiating action plans that respond to priorities of mutual interest. The process culminates in the publication of an annual TOP report which provides information and advice to governments and agencies who make decisions about workforce development issues that affect our local area. This ensures that delivered programs and services meet the unique ne eds of the community within our local board area.
WWTAB can respond to these issues in a number of ways by eg. developing action based initiatives, supporting new community program development or conducting additional research. Back to Top
